Hasten Cleanse is a water-based concentrate for cleaning crude oil storage tanks: it breaks the bond between crude residue and steel, lifts the sludge into a water suspension your vac truck can handle, and knocks down LEL and VOC readings at the same time. No flash point, no solvent smell, no hazardous wash water.
Same-day response during business hours.
Solvent cleaners dissolve crude into a flammable mixture you then have to dispose of as hazardous waste. Hasten Cleanse takes a different route.
Surfactants get between the crude and the steel and break the adhesion, without turning the residue into a flammable liquid.
Residue comes off as microscopic droplets suspended in the wash water, which pumps, moves, and separates like water instead of like oil.
Bonding to the hydrocarbon raises its flash point and slows vaporization, so LEL and VOC readings fall while the wash is running.
The fatty-acid base is food for the microbes in your wastewater system. Wash water is non-hazardous and does not upset the biology.
It is not a solvent and not a caustic. It will not dissolve, melt, or strip material that is physically bonded or baked onto a surface: scale, rust, hardened deposits, coatings. It lifts hydrocarbons, oil, grease, crude, sludge, and paraffin, by emulsifying them, and it needs agitation, circulation, pressure, or heat to do that work. If your problem is a stuck-on solid rather than a hydrocarbon film or residue, tell us and we will say so.
Every drum is concentrate. Compare products on working gallons, not on the drum.
A 55-gallon drum at 1:20 makes about 1,155 gallons of working solution. The same drum of a product that runs 1:10 makes about 605. That is the whole comparison, and we will run it against whatever you use now on a side-by-side demo.
Shipped from Houston as standard freight, one to two days on the Gulf Coast, same-day pickup available.
No. It is water-based with no flash point. Solvent-based tank cleaners typically flash between 100 and 140 degrees.
1:10 for heavy sludge, 1:20 for typical residue, 1:50 for a light film. Heat helps; 140 to 160 degrees is the sweet spot on crude.
No. It lifts hydrocarbon residue. It is not a solvent or a caustic and it will not strip material that is physically bonded to the steel.
Yes, including iron sulfide deposits. Standard pyrophoric precautions still apply.
Non-hazardous standard freight, no placards. 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 275-gallon totes, or bulk. Gulf Coast delivery in one to two days.
Tank size, residue, and your application method. A quote and a demo offer back the same day.
